Customer had some 2m long XLR cables they wanted shortening to use as patch leads, and make 4 out of 1.
With two pairs, 2m each of green, light green and white Klotz cable this made up 24 patch leads in total. Fingers are sore!

Heat-shrink sleeved the shield for neatness and prevent any potential shorting should the cable get pushed in (shorter stripping would also help but can make it a bit fiddlier to solder). Noticed that the male XLR pins soak away quite a bit of heat so are a little trickier to solder than the female. After sanity checking all the cables wiring, bunched together groups of 4 with some non-sticky clear pvc wrapping material.
